Depart Home; Arrive in Honolulu This Evening |
|
Upon arrival at the Honolulu
International Airport you will receive a traditional Hawaiian
Lei Greeting and be taken directly to the hotel. An Elite
Sports International representative will greet you at the
hotel and assist you with express check-in. You will then
have the remainder of the afternoon and evening to explore the
Waikiki Beach area. |

Wed, June 25 |
Sightseeing Tour - Evening Hawaiian Olympics |
|
Today will be a full day of sightseeing and
fun. The tour bus will leave the hotel at
9:30 AM for the Aloha Flea Market at Aloha
Stadium. You will find all things Hawaiian at
this shopping bonanza. This is a great place
to do your shopping for the week. After your
morning shopping spree we will stop for a
brief lunch (on your own) at a local fast food
restaurant. We will then continue on to the
fabulous Pali Lookout. Here you will have the
chance to take some breathtaking photos with
your teammates. We will then continue on our
sightseeing journey past some of Oahu's most
beautiful scenery which includes: the Halona
Blow Hole, World Famous Sunset Beach (home to
the world's best body surfing and boogie
boarding events), Hanauama Bay, and Waimanalo
Town.
Once you arrive back to the Waikiki area, the
team will head straight to the “Hawaiian
Olympics” The Hawaiian Olympics is an event
where your group will compete in various
Polynesian games. These games include several
events such as Hawaiian Fear Factor (you’ll
really enjoy that one), Huli Huli, and the
player-coach Hula dancing contest. |

Polynesian Show & Dinner |
|
You will have this day to explore the island of Oahu. Your
team may want to take an optional sightseeing excursion such
as snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, parasailing, swimming at the
North Shore or maybe climb to the top of Diamond Head Crater.
See the ESI staff for help booking your sightseeing
excursions. Whatever your choice, this day will be one to
remember. This evening you will enjoy a Polynesian Show and
Dinner. This is sure to be one of the highlights of the week. |

Fri, June 27 |
Day at Leisure - King's Jubilee at the Hilton Hawaiian Village |
|
Today will be yours to again experience all Honolulu has to
offer. See your ESI tour guide for a list of activities to
enjoy…Friday Evening - The King's Jubilee...As a guest
at the Hilton Hawaiian Village you will enjoy authentic
Hawaiian entertainment and a beachfront fireworks show. The
color and pageantry of Hawaii's monarchy are brought to life
in this regal tribute to King David Kalakaua, featuring the
music, song and dance of the Polynesian Islands and the
exciting Samoan Fire Knife Dance. The grand finale of this
evening is a stunning beachfront fireworks display that lights
up Waikiki Beach. |

Tournament Play
Begins |
| You will depart for
the gymnasium in the morning or early afternoon. Your team
will play two games today during the opening round of the
“King Kamehameha Basketball Classic.” This evening you and
your team may want to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe or the Planet
Hollywood or
maybe one of Waikiki's best local restaurants - "Dukes" named
in honor of Hawaii's legendary surfer, Duke Kahanamoku. |

Sun, June 29 |
Championship Finals |
| Each Team will be seeded and
placed in the "Championship Medal Round" in the mid-morning.
The finals will be at approximately 4:00 p.m. The awards
ceremony will follow the finals and will be the closing of
this fine event. After the games are complete, you and your
teammates will want to enjoy your last night in Hawaii at
one of the islands fine restaurants. |

Mon, June 30 |
Day at Leisure - Depart for Home |
| You and your team will have this
morning and afternoon free to get in one last swim or maybe
take the surfing lesson you've put off all week. We depart
for the airport and our flight home late this afternoon. |
|

Return to Your Home City |
| You arrive home this afternoon
after an enjoyable experience with new friends and teammates
for life. |
